Greer’s Best Buys:

Go with taste of yogurt, not decor

September 04, 2008|By Greer Wylder

A new self-serve yogurt shop just opened in Corona Del Mar.

CDM Yogurt is the antithesis of the current yogurt craze. It’s as mom ’n’ pop as it gets — no fancy lighting, modern fixtures and hip interiors. Co-owners and husband-and-wife team Lisa and Jeff Fisher pride themselves on the quality of their yogurt. Jeff is excited about his current flavors — tart lowfat, peach tart, mango tarts, peanut butter, Fudgsicle, oatmeal cookie, old fashioned vanilla, peppermint chocolate, very strawberry and low-carb/lactose-intolerant- friendly honey almond — but expect to see new flavors debuting soon. Today, you can taste-test for yourself for less. CDM Yogurt celebrates its grand opening from 4 p.m. to closing by offering 50% off yogurt, cash only with an ATM available. The store is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday at 3333 E. Coast Hwy. in Corona del Mar. For more information, call (949) 673-9033.
