Four Newport-Mesa football players are expected to play in the 49th Orange County North-South All-Star Football Game Friday at Orange Coast College at 7:15 p.m.
Linebacker Erik Rask, a Corona del Mar graduate headed to the University of Pennsylvania, headlines the locals on the South team.
The others are defensive lineman Chase Obenauer, a Newport Harbor grad, and UCLA-bound wide receiver Carlo Valdes and Montana State-bound offensive lineman Ben Tauanuu, both Mater Dei grads.
