I think Dave New is the greatest father in the whole world because he gave me two of the best kids and a great life. And I don’t know what we would do without him. He is one of a kind.
He is a great poppy too!

Our daddy is the greatest. He takes us skateboarding and we love him!

When people ask me about my father, I think affectionately of the way he buys bagels for us early every Sunday morning, or how he wakes up every day at 5 a.m. to take care of our two golden retrievers so that the rest of his family can sleep in, or how he goes to every single sporting event that my brother and I are in and cheers like a madman on the sidelines.
He doesn’t just tell us that he loves us. No, he has to show us through these little yet significant everyday actions.
I admire my dad because he has taught my two brothers and me so many things about life and how to deal with it. Through his blunt yet refreshing honesty that often got him into trouble with his wife, dad taught us that we should never be afraid to speak our minds and that we always need to be ourselves. He molded our characters with his own values and showed us how to appreciate our tight and loving family and how to respect the people around us. In his advertising business, he is really respected for his honesty and easy-going personality that make him approachable and fun to be around.
I love how Dad’s always there when we need a hug or when we are tense and need a hard (and sometimes painful) shoulder massage. I love how he makes everyone want to be his friend and how his greatest cooking achievement is the Pop-Tart. I love his great big jolly laugh that can make the angriest person smile and eases the awkward tension out of a room in a second.
