Construction is underway for Coastal Peak Park, a 14-acre active sports park at the end of Ridge Park Road in Newport Coast.
The park will include three soccer fields, two baseball fields, a basketball court, two batting cages, a tot lot and picnic area.
“Coastal Peak Park will provide a significant enhancement of our sports parks, particularly in the Newport Coast area,” Councilman Keith Curry said. “In accordance with the General Plan, the city is committed to the development of active sports parks throughout the city.”
