Giada de Laurentiis, the celebrity chef best known as the host of “Everyday Italian” on the Food Network, is scheduled to sign her cookbooks this afternoon at the Crate & Barrel store in South Coast Plaza.
Between 1 and 3 p.m., the first 450 customers to purchase a copy of one of de Laurentiis’ three books — “Everyday Italian,” “Everyday Pasta” and “Giada’s Family Dinners” — will receive an autograph. There will also be sample tastings of the chef’s Everyday Italian Gourmet specialty foods line.
