Vanguard University senior Jessica Richter, who averaged 26.5 points and 13 rebounds in a pair of women’s basketball victories last week, has been named Golden State Athletic Conference Player of the Week.
The 5-foot-10 guard, the NAIA and GSAC Player of the Year as a junior, collected 32 points, 13 rebounds, five steals and three assists in the Lions’ 93-62 road win over Fresno Pacific on Saturday.
In a 73-72 home win over Hope International on Thursday, Richter produced 21 points, 13 rebounds, four assists and four steals.
