Zov's has 'Month of Love'

January 24, 2008

Zov’s Cafe Bakery and Bar plans to dedicate February as the “Month of Love,” with a special all-dessert menu offered every Sunday during the month.

The menu, also available Sundays at Zov’s Irvine location and Mondays at its Tustin location, comprises three courses: “Be Mine,” featuring mini-homemade cookies and warm vanilla cream sauce; “True Love,” chocolate ganache heart-shaped cake with raspberry drizzle; and “Forever Yours,” pomegranate-tangerine sorbet with citrus almond poundcake.

The trio of items costs $14.95.

“The ‘Month of Love’ at Zov’s is an opportunity to share our love for good food with our guests, who we consider a part of our family,” Zov Karamardian, the restaurant’s founder and executive chef, said in a release. “Valentine’s Day is known as a day of romance, and we have something special for those seeking a memorable, romantic evening on Feb. 14.

But we have extended the holiday into a monthlong celebration to include not only couples, but also families, friends and kids of all ages. There is something for everyone.”

Zov’s is located at 21123 Newport Coast Drive. Call (949) 760-9687 for more information.
