Costa Mesa police are looking for two men suspected of trying to abduct a 15-year-old girl as she walked home from soccer practice at Costa Mesa High School on Thursday afternoon.
The two men trailed the teenager at about 4:15 p.m. on the 1000 block of Presidio Square. One of the men tried to grab her hair, but the girl wrestled her way free and ran home where she called police. She was unhurt.
One of the men is described as Latino, about 45 years old, 5-foot-6, weighing about 145 pounds, police said. He was wearing a faded red baseball cap, a black leather jacket and baggy blue jeans.
