'Dine Around Costa Mesa' offered again
The Costa Mesa Conference and Visitor Bureau, in partnership with local area restaurants, is offering diners a second chance to participate in the "2007 Dine Around Costa Mesa" promotion it offered in July and August.
Through Sept. 30, participating restaurants including Chat Noir Bistro and Jazz Lounge, Vie de France, Karl Strauss Brewing Company, and Z'Tejas Southwestern Grill, will offer two $20 dining certificates good toward the purchase of dinner, and two $10 gift certificates for lunch at their establishments.
Certificates may be obtained by calling the office at (714) 435-8530 or by visiting www.travelcostamesa.com.
A menu booklet featuring all the restaurants honoring the certificates will be included, and should arrive by mail within three days of placing the order.
Three restaurants offer happy hour, art exhibit
Kimera Restaurant and Lounge, part of the Dining as Art Collection that includes Bayside and Bistango restaurants, is offering a "Summer Time, Happy Time" happy hour seven days a week from 5 p.m. to close for $5.
All three restaurants showcase rotating modern art exhibits, "that enhance the ambience," and are available for purchase.
Kimera's lounge and bar area will feature select champagne cocktails and martinis, in addition to romesco pizza, Philly cheese steak, ahi and manchego fondue appetizers.
Kimera is at 19530 Jamboree Road. Call (949) 261-1222.
