Two artists and an author who portray "the art of angling" will be featured during August at the Newport Harbor Nautical Museum.
The month kicks off with an exhibition by Flick Ford, who has painted a variety of fish, including the sailfish and rainbow trout. Ford will discuss his work and sign his book "Fish: 77 Great Fish of North America" at a 6 p.m. reception Aug. 9.
Also during August, writer Mike Rivkin will talk about his book "Angling and War," and fish painter Stanley Meltzer's work will be displayed.
