Estancia 3, Calvary Chapel 1COSTA MESA — Josie Flores went the distance in the Orange Coast League game Friday, allowing three hits and no earned runs as Estancia Coach Alan Caouette said the Eagles claimed their first league championship in at least 11 years.

"It's huge. I was shocked it's been that long," said Caouette, whose team will advance to the playoffs for the first time during his three years as the varsity coach. "We had some good players in the past."

Corona del Mar (18-7) ends the league season at 8-4 and will hope Laguna Hills (7-3) will lose at least once next week in its two games against Irvine. That would give the Sea Kings a share of the PCL title.
