decision-making process and how to take control of their lives, is

'AS THE SPIRIT MOVES: A BROADWAY REVUE'
"As the Spirit Moves: A Broadway Revue" will be presented by the
Winged Lion Players at St. Mark Presbyterian Church, 2100 Mar Vista,
Newport Beach. This is the Winged Lion Players' fifth annual musicale
to benefit the nondenominational Newport Community Counseling Center
at St. Mark, which provides programs and services for victims of
domestic abuse, or those who are in challenging domestic situations.
Show times are Friday, Oct. 7 and Saturday, Oct. 8 at 7:30 p.m. and

BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS AT FIRST UNITED METHODIST
The First United Methodist Church of Costa Mesa is having its
first annual blessing of the animals at 1 p.m. Sunday on the west
lawn of the church, 420 West 19th St., Costa Mesa. People are welcome
