Ockey, Tolfa All-CIF

Estancia High senior Hilary Ockey and Corona del Mar sophomore

Michelle Tolfa have been named second-team All-CIF Southern Section

in Division IV.

Ockey, a first-team All-Golden West League selection, led the

Eagles with a .554 batting average and 18 RBIs.

The pitcher/catcher struck out 23 batters in 51 innings and

finished with a 3.43 ERA.

Tolfa, the Newport-Mesa Player of the Year, was CdM's pitching

ace, posting a 1.08 ERA with 201 strikeouts in 155 innings to finish

the season 15-10.

She hit .467 to lead the team and added six home runs and 20 RBIs.

She tied for the most home runs in the Pacific Coast League.

CdM finished third in league made the CIF Division IV playoffs.
