The UC Irvine women's basketball team will try to set a new
standard Saturday, when the Anteaters host UC Riverside at 7 p.m.
Saturday's game against the Highlanders has been dubbed, "Break
the Record Night." The current attendance mark of 1,384 was set on March 2, 2002 against Long Beach State. UCI (8-5, 1-1 in the Big West
Conference) has bettered the school record for a women's single-game
attendance each of the last three years.
