Sage Hill falls at Tesoro

Facing a talented and up-and-coming Tesoro High boys basketball

team Monday night, Sage Hill trailed from start to finish as the host

Titans earned a 61-47 nonleague decision.

Sage Hill (4-8), which plays its final nonleague game Wednesday at

Fairmont Prep before opening Academy League action Friday night at

home against Brethren Christian (both at 7 p.m.), was led by junior

Kevin Joyce's 18 points on 5-of-7 shooting from beyond the

three-point line, while senior Michael Fitzhugh scored 17 points,

grabbed six rebounds and had three assists.

Tesoro, which enjoyed a 27-20 halftime lead, was led by Pat

Marion's 24 points and 6-foot-6 freshman James Cawhorne's 12 points.
