Red Wings stay perfect

October 31, 2002

The Ducks stretched the Red Wings to overtime, but Bridget Lyons

came through for the Wings, scoring a goal the shootout portion of

overtime to stake the Red Wings to a 6-5 win, keeping them undefeated

on the season in a boys and girls fourth and fifth-grade Boys & Girls

Club of the Harbor Area roller hockey game.

Both teams went scoreless through the first round of overtime

before Lyons scored her goal in sudden death to seal the win for the

Red Wings.

The Red Wings' offense was led by Rusty Sary and Ian Segueira, who

combined for five Red Wing goals, with Jake Palanjian and Logan

Newett sharing goaltending duties.

Brandon Booth and Hunter Gray were also strong defensively.
