Costa Mesa releases new budget proposal

Costa Mesa officials have delivered the proposed 2002-03 fiscal year

budget early this year to spark communitywide discussion about the

financial projections.

City Manager Allan Roeder has provided copies at sites throughout the

city to reach as many interested residents as possible.

The public may view copies of the proposed budget at the city clerk's

office, 77 Fair Drive; Costa Mesa Public Library Branch, 1855 Park Ave.;

Mesa Verde Branch Library, 2969 Mesa Verde Drive; or on the city's Web

site at o7 www.ci.costa-mesa.ca.usf7 .

City Council members will discuss the 2002-03 budget at a study

session at 4:30 p.m. June 10 in City Hall Conference Room 1A, 77 Fair

Drive. Two additional community meetings will be held but have not yet

been scheduled.
