In NHBA Pony Division action:

Mud Hens 2, Pelicans 0 - Mud Hen pitcher Brendon Salisbury delivered a

complete-game shutout performance, striking out nine and walking only two

to help secure the win.

Salisbury also led the offense with a triple, a walk and one run

scored, while Nick Frazier doubled and had a walk. Nathan Cramer also

smashed a triple and scored, and Tim Cramer, Jose Gutierrez and Frank


Muscatello each walked.

Pelican pitcher Dustin Schuler served five innings of duty on the

mound and fanned nine. Brett Houten also pitched for the Pelicans.

In Corona del Mar Pony Division action:

Cardinals 8, Giants 4 (extra innings) - The Cards broke a 4-4 tie in

the top of the eighth inning on back-to-back singles by Kyle Schneekluth

and Roger Ramillon, and then back-to-back home runs by Andrew Dialynis

and Jamie Kline.

Ryan Lance pitched the final two innings for the Cardinals, striking

out six of the seven batters he faced.
