The arraignment for a 53-year-old Newport-Mesa Unified School District
board member stemming from a DUI arrest was postponed Monday to Nov. 28.
Two misdemeanor charges were filed against Jim Ferryman on Oct. 10 --
one count of drunk driving and another that states he had a blood alcohol
level that exceeded the legal limit of 0.08.
Officials said a blood test performed by the Orange County crime lab
