"(Holland and Damion) served for the match at 6-5, and if they would
have won that match, I think they would have won CIF," Stewart said.
Seniors Brittany Minna, Katie Tenerelli, Sara Bryan and Hilary Fuller
are also expected to contribute this season for the Sea Kings, while
sophomore Amanda Rubenstein, who won two doubles titles this summer, is
the team's most improved player, Stewart said.
Senior Laura Claster and sophomore Juliette Mutzke are also returning
from last year's varsity team, while seniors Golie Alemi and Meera Shukla
are up from JV.
CdM defeated Calabasas, 13-5, in the CIF title match last year at the
Claremont Club.
