Club water polo: Hawaiian Invitational

HONOLULU - The Back Bay rivalry went on the road as the Newport

Harbor and Corona del Mar high school water polo programs, under club

formats, squared off against each other in the girls 18-and-under

division in the 33rd annual Hawaiian Invitational Thursday.

CdM defeated Newport, 6-4. Also, in the girls 14-and-under division,

the CdM Jr. squad lost in the championship game to Commerce, 6-3.
