NEWPORT BEACH - The Newport Harbor High boys volleyball team
prepared for today's Santa Barbara Tournament with a 15-4, 14-16, 15-4,
15-11 victory over visiting Sea View League foe Woodbridge Thursday.
Junior Greg Perrine led the Sailors (7-5, 4-2 in league) with 17
kills, while senior Blake Tippett slammed for 13. Newport junior Loyd
Wright served up 57 assists which also gave way to 11 kills for senior
Christian Berg-Hansen and 10 from junior Morgan Craig.
