A donkey basketball game and fund-raiser will begin at 7 p.m. today at

Mariners Christian School, 300 Fischer Ave., Costa Mesa. Parents and

staff will compete by attempting to score baskets while riding donkeys.


Admission is $3 per person. Proceeds will benefit the seventh-grade class

A children's art fair with a presentation and activities will run from 4

to 7 p.m. at Newport Heights Art Gallery, 300 E. 15th St., Newport Beach.

Some of the activities include pillow decoration, clay chimes and

The Lido Isle Women's Club inaugural Newport Beach Spring Antiques Show

on Mother's Day weekend will feature French, English and American

furniture and early California art, prints, maps, books, porcelain and
