COSTA MESA - Costa Mesa High's softball team fell behind big early
in Tuesday's 13-4 nonleague loss to visiting Calvary Chapel.
The Eagles, ranked No. 5 in CIF Southern Section Division V, scored 10
runs in the first three innings and never looked back.
Kelly Daub went 2 for 4 to lead the Mustangs (3-2).
Costa Mesa will host Newport Harbor Thursday at 3:15 p.m. before
traveling to Lancaster for a weekend tournament.
