JC baseball: Tigers topple OCC

RIVERSIDE - Host Riverside broke open a 3-1 game with a five-run

fifth, then added to the damage to claim a 13-1 Orange Empire Conference

baseball win over Orange Coast Tuesday.

Freshman first baseman Eric Wiethorn, a Corona del Mar High product, had

a pair of hits for one of the few OCC positives.

Riverside outhit the visitors, 12-5, dropping the Pirates to 5-13, 0-7 in

conference.
