The Century in Photos

What would a look back at the last century be without the photographic

images that captured it?

Well, we wouldn't want you to know that answer, so our Director of

Photography, Marc Martin, has put together a scrapbook of images and

memories dating back to the 1900s all the way to the present as part of a

special Daily Pilot Century in Photos edition.

The special edition, starting on Page B1, is a glimpse at all that we

used to be and all that we are now, with shots of early Newport Beach and

Costa Mesa and unforgettable moments that are etched in time.

So before the New Year's celebrations begin, sit back and take a look
