IRVINE - The Estancia High boys basketball team jumped out to a
22-13 first-quarter lead, then held on to defeat Mark Keppel, 67-60, in
the pool-play opener of the Irvine World News Tournament Monday at
Woodbridge High.
The Eagles (3-2), who were led by Jason Simco (18 points), Darshaun
Garner (14) and Steve Rodriguez (11) meet Woodbridge tonight at 7:30 at
the same site.
