Youth soccer: Ladycats reach semis of Jussa Tournament

YORBA LINDA - The Costa Mesa Xtreme Ladycats Under 15 girls team

placed fourth in the Jusa Tournament last weekend.

After a 2-0 loss to the Yorba Linda Jusa Select Blue team, the

Ladycats came back strong to defeat the Santa Monica Outrage, 2-1.

Goals were scored by Stacy Krikorian and Stacy McCormick for the

Ladycats.

The following game saw the Ladycats upend the Whittier Splash, 3-1,

with solid defense turned in by Amanda Abbott and Nellie Cobar.

In the game, goals were scored by Krikorian, McCormick and Sharon Day.

In their final game of the tournament, the Ladycats fell to Simi

Valley United, 3-0.
